*Welcome to the Jiingi preparations!*

We are right now planning the program activities, and if you want to help
with that, you are most welcome!

We would like your help to add to the international dimension at our camp by
contributing with something that you can prepare at home before you arrive
here in Sweden.

During the afternoons and the evenings, before and after dinner, we will
have several different Spontaneous activities with an International theme to
them.

There are three kinds of activities that we would like your help with:

*Contributions to our International Interactive Exhibition*

Located on the Big Square in the centre of the camp we will have a tent with
an International Exhibition where you can learn about other countries and
experience how it is to live in a different culture than your own. The
exhibition will appeal to all of your five senses where you can listen to
sounds and music, taste, smell, feel and see different things from different
parts of the world.

Here we would like contributions from your country. Maybe some pictures
and/or a story from your latest camp or hike or a CD with
popular/traditional music/sounds or a slideshow with pictures from your
country.

*Activities for our International "Take away" programme boxes*

During the time for Spontaneous activities you can borrow different kinds of
programme boxes with an international theme at the Info-centres that you can
"Take away" to your village or somewhere else and do the activity that is
described in the box.

We would like your help with coming up with ideas that we can make
activities from. For example a recipe of a traditional dish/cookie/cake, a
description of a game or a song that others could make or learn in their
village or together with you in your village.

*Stage performances at the Village Cafés *

Here you (and your group if you come with a group) can show the other scouts
something that you do at home. A dance, song, drama or something else that
you want to share with people from a different culture than your own.

If you can come up with something that can fit into one or several of these
activities send me some info of what you have in mind so we can plan and
support you with this activity before and during the camp.
